Job Description: As our Marketing, Social Media, and Website Manager you'll be the driving force behind our digital presence and marketing initiatives. You’ll spend time on the sales floor connecting with our customers and our product to form a comprehensive understanding of our audience and their ever-changing needs and interests. You’ll also collaborate closely with the owners and management team to develop and execute strategies that elevate our brand, engage our community, and drive sales in-store and online. From crafting compelling social media campaigns and emails to providing top-tier customer service to our shoppers, you'll have the unique opportunity to support and develop the GOS brand.

Responsibilities:

●      Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

●      Manage our website including content creation and e-commerce functionality.

●      Write and execute a yearly content calendar.

●      Curate, create and post engaging content for our social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

●      Produce weekly emails that align with our brand voice and GOS look & feel to deliver exciting product updates, promotions, and upcoming events to our subscriber base.

●      Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

●      Collaborate with our management team to plan and execute exciting events, promotions, and partnerships.

●      Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

●      Assist customers on the sales floor day-to-day, providing expert product knowledge and personalized recommendations.

●      Actively participate in staff meetings, contributing ideas and insights to help grow our business.

Qualifications:

●      Passion for the outdoors and an understanding of outdoor gear and equipment. Training is available for the right candidate.

●      Proven experience in digital marketing, website management, and social media strategy.

●      Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

●      Creative thinker with a knack for storytelling and visual content creation.

●      Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to manage time independently and self-starting attitude.

 ●      Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

●      Experience working in the Adobe Suite is a plus.

●      Customer service experience and familiarity with point-of-sale systems (preferred).

Schedule:

●      Typical schedule Monday-Friday 9:45-5pm with one to two Saturdays a month. Will work additional hours for events, and meetings as needed.
